Terms of Service

Welcome

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of myhidn.net (the "Service"), operated by hidn.ai, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), a Virginia limited liability company based in Virginia Beach, VA.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. We also have a Privacy Policy that explains how we handle your data.

What myhidn Is

myhidn is an AI workspace platform. You bring your own AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar), and we provide the persistent infrastructure it needs to be useful: contacts, documents, tasks, and relationship graphs.

We provide API and MCP (Model Context Protocol) access so your AI can read and write to your workspace. We are not an AI provider — we don't run the AI models themselves.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you are 18 or older and that the information you provide is accurate.

Your Account

You're responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials and AI token secure
• All activity that happens under your account, including actions taken by your AI using your token
• Providing accurate account information
• Notifying us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised

Your AI token allows your AI assistant to take actions on your behalf via our API/MCP endpoints. Those actions are attributed to you. Treat your token like a password.

Subscriptions and Billing

myhidn offers free and paid plans. Paid plans are recurring subscriptions billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis at the prices shown at checkout. By starting a paid subscription, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, payment, and applicable taxes for your purchase, and your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. We may change prices or plan features with at least 30 days' advance notice; changes take effect on your next billing period, and you may cancel before they take effect.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period, after which you will not be charged again.

Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

AI Integration

myhidn follows a "Bring Your Own AI" (BYOAI) model. You connect your own AI assistant to our platform. A few things to understand:

• We provide the workspace and APIs — not the AI itself
• You are responsible for your AI's behavior when it interacts with our platform
• We log all AI actions via your token for transparency and audit purposes
• We are not responsible for any outputs, decisions, or actions your AI takes
• Your use of third-party AI services is governed by those providers' own terms

Imported Data

You can import contact and relationship data into myhidn (for example, LinkedIn connections via CSV upload). By importing data, you represent that:

• You have the right to use and import that data
• Your use of the data complies with the source platform's terms (e.g., LinkedIn's User Agreement)
• You won't use imported data for spamming, unauthorized scraping, or any purpose that violates applicable law

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-export data from the Service for use outside your workspace
• Send unsolicited messages or spam using contact data stored in your workspace
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or our systems
• Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

Data Ownership

Your data is yours. You retain full ownership of all data you create, import, or store in your workspace — contacts, documents, tasks, relationship graphs, and everything else.

You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and display your data solely to operate the Service and provide its features to you. We don't sell your data and we don't use it to train AI models.

Service Availability and Plans

myhidn offers a free plan and paid subscription plans, and the Service is under active development. That means:

• A free plan is available; paid plans add additional features and capacity (see Subscriptions and Billing above)
• Features may change, be added, or be removed as the Service evolves
• The free plan and specific features are not guaranteed to remain available and may change with notice
• We don't guarantee uptime or offer service level agreements (SLAs)
• We'll do our best to keep things running smoothly, but you may encounter occasional rough edges

Intellectual Property

The myhidn name, logo, branding, website design, and underlying code are the property of hidn.ai, LLC. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the right to use the Service as described here.

Termination

By you: You can delete your account at any time. When you do, we delete all your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that harms others or puts our systems at risk. We'll try to give you notice when possible, but we reserve the right to act immediately in serious cases.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain the data in your myhidn account for as long as your subscription is active. After your subscription ends — whether you cancel, it lapses, or we terminate it — we keep your data in a limited, export-only state for 30 days so you can export it or resume your subscription. We do not otherwise use your data during this period. After the 30-day window, we delete your account data from our live systems. You may also delete all of your data at any time using the "Delete all my data" control in your account settings, which begins deletion immediately. In all cases, residual copies may persist in our encrypted backups for up to 30 days after deletion, after which they are permanently purged. We may retain limited information where required by law (for example, transaction and tax records held by our payment processor). See our Privacy Policy for more detail.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, hidn.ai, LLC and its team members shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (for free-plan users who have paid us nothing, that amount is zero).

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. You use the Service at your own risk.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts located in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
